walked into Brass Monkey expecting a "shop". Quite the opposite. Walls decorated with fine art for sale. Not flash. Bottom line.
Clean. Professional. Fun. And the highest quality work around bar none. |

Frank McManus is a great talent. I've searched and checked out artists all over the country and I've never found the quality of work
that Frank produces. He is wonderful to collaborate with on any creative endeavor. I feel very fortunate to have two pieces from Frank, with more in the making. The man is fun and easy to work with. He's always got great suggestions to augment any idea you may have and he's very open and accommodating to feedback and adjustments on the designs he produces for you. I highly recommend this shop even for those getting their first tattoo. There is zero pretension and Frank will gladly take the time to explain the details of the tattooing process. |

I just had my fifth tattoo done, and my first by Frank McManus. It is without a doubt the best tattoo I have. This guy is an
incredible artist and an even better tattoo artist. I thought the drawings he did for me were great...the tattoo is freakin awesome! This is a custom only place. If you are looking for a place with a bunch of numbered artwork on the walls that you can stroll in and pick one, go somewhere else. You don't need an artist for that. He is a popular guy and is booked 3-4 weeks in advance, but trust me, he is well worth the wait. I looked around all over Central PA and talked to a lot of folks before I decided on Brass Monkey and Frank McManus. Don't waste your tiime, there is no reason to look any further. I will going back for more! |
